This volume lists the water rates and quarterly payments for lots in Boulder, Colorado, 1877-1882. The entries are organized by block number, then by lot number. The owner and the lessee[s] of each lot are noted. Following an alphabetical index of lessees near the back of the register are two pages of entries from 1890; the remaining ca. 20 pages are blank. The first two pages of this volume contain printed copies of the water ordinance passed by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Boulder on 11 March 1878, their ordinance in relation to town officers, and a resolution and accompanying articles concerning the extension of the town's waterworks in March 1878, with a statement of water rates for 1877-1878 by type of property (e.g. residences, butcher shops, baths).
